The
Short Version:
DJ Lex (Lex de Azevedo II) grew up in the 80s in the Los Angeles
area and was raised on The World Famous "KROQ".
Towards the end of high school, he ended up in Salt Lake City. At
the time SLC has some of the highest rated new wave and modern rock
stations.
In 1991, Lex moved to St. George, Utah (120 miles north of Las Vegas)
and started his graphic design career working for a 3D software
company: Strata Inc.
Lex also launched his DJing career during this time.
In 1999, Lex moved to Santa Cruz to work for MetaCreations. During
this time in Santa Cruz, Lex co-founded Octane Entertainment and
Club Octane.
Lex recently moved back to St. George, Utah to marry his girlfriend
of several years - Mickelle.
DJ Lex has been spinning for over 10 years. He spins anything with
a beat, but wanted to share his extremely rare 80s collection with
the world. All the songs you hear are from his personal record and
CD collection. |
